“Rat Poison” by Justin Kramer

This phenomenally talented illustrator’s website is overfull with delicious grimness. Lucky for us, much of his work is available as limited edition prints.

Artist’s statement about this piece:

Rat Poison’s background is made up of prohibition-era alcohol tax stamps and alcohol prescriptions with federal markings on them issued by doctors. The split fountain/gradient varies throughout the run as I had to adjust the spread of the ink the whole run.

Signed & Numbered/appx 16x24/4-color screenprint limited to a run of 100. $30

Kramer hails from Louisville, Kentucky and the influences of old school Bourbon packaging are apparent in this work.
