“La Petite Mort” by Christopher Conte
I know Conte’s work via Boing Boing (of course). I adore his complex mechanical art, but there is something about the understated nature of this piece that is undoing me.
It will be on display at Chet Zar’s show “Conjoined 2” opening Saturday at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica. It’s the last one of six selling for $1,600 selling via the gallery. I wish I were a rich girl.
